As a piano player, I am moved by the fact that different scales reflect and bring out different feelings in us. In the rhythm series I tried to capture these feelings not with notes but colours and shapes oscillating in a void to create that feeling. The dominant seventh is perhaps the most important of the seventh chords. It was the first seventh chord to appear regularly in classical music. This chord typically functions to drive the piece strongly toward a resolution to the root of the key and melody. I tried to capture this by using bolder and more dominant colours, almost oscillating in a slow consistent mood bringing everything to a smooth and clear conclusion, resolution.
